Leitrim Lodge and Ulster Way

Wet, wet, wet although surprisingly little rain on our walk from Leitrim Lodge up to Castle Bog and back via Yellow Water River and the Ulster Way. Low cloud ensured we were kept damp. 9.5Km and 360m ascent. Wiser souls kept below the clouds to enjoy the Ulster Way!

Bearnagh

A couple of pics from Gary's epic hike round Bearnagh. 11.9Km and 571m ascent.

Dundrum

Heretofore APWD was the Cedars acronym for "Another Perfect Walking Day" but on 7th March the "P" stood for "Perishing" with a cold east wind blowing in off the bay. Nevertheless, a brisk walk of almost six miles kept us happy and we enjoyed a late lunch and magnificent views at Dundrum Castle before retiring to Urban in Castlewellan to warm up with tea, coffee and good craic.
