Change of plan - we will return to Ballyhornan for our walk on 21 March 2019. This is around the time of year when we traditionally do a walk associated with Saint Patrick so what better route than section 3 of the Lecale Way - incorporating Ballyhornan Coastal Path which includes Saint Patrick's Well. The full walk from Kilclief Castle to Ardglass (or vice versa) is 11.6km or 7.25 miles but shorter walks will be available. We'll meet first in Ardglass for a briefing.

We had originally planned to walk Vinegar Hill Loop this week, a seven mile loop walk on country roads and tracks through beautiful countryside with the option of Drum Manor which offers a number of shorter loop walks within the old estate demesne dating from the late 1800s. We will try to fit these in later in the year.
Walkers meet at 9:45am at Jethro Centre, Lurgan on Thursdays for car share and minibus unless notified otherwise. Some members meet at Portadown Rugby Football Club (PRFC) at 9:30am for car share although the time may vary depending on where we are walking.
Although we make every effort to stick to the published programme events sometimes conspire to make us change our plans. We try to notify all members of planned walks by text and email by 9:00pm on the night before walks and the website is usually updated by that time also.
