Keep safe, keep well, keep walking.

Another perfect day for walking at Gosford with no rain until the very last moment as we were finishing our lunch in the car park.

Tollymore

Binnian

John O. led a small group on a successful and enjoyable ascent of Binnian.

Ruth led three very special walks. First, to Ballymoyer Wood where we had a sheltered 4.2Km walk along the Creggan River, then to Glenanne where we had a short walk along the glen and lunch in the community garden. In the afternoon we visited historic Derrymore House where we had a lovely 2Km walk round the grounds, including a visit to the Quaker Meeting House. After that, most of us went on to the nearby Bernish viewpoint and Ballymacdermott Court Tomb. A great day was had by all. In the imortal words of Van Morrison: "Mama always told me there'd be days like this."

Slieve Foye

Mike led a small group of intrepid walkers to the summit of Slieve Foye and along the Cooley ridge. Despite the blustery conditions, it was another great day in the hills with beautiful views.

Blue Lough and Cove

Herbie led a great walk to the Blue Lough and Cove Cave. Special thanks from Dorothy for making her Aussie family welcome - "it's a great group".
