From Rathfriland, drive to Hilltown, turning left at the church and then right on the outskirts of the town following the signs to Kilkeel. Drive past Spelga Dam and at the T junction just beyong the reservoir turn right on to Moyad Road/B27 towards Kilkeel. ¾ mile after passing the equestrian centre and Banns Road car park, and BEFORE the turn off to Silent Valley, turn right on to the Attical Bog Road and drive through the village. Immediately before you get to the Gaelic Athletic Club, just outside the village, turn right into Sandy Brae Road and follow this (often badly potholed) road for just over one mile until you come to some farm buildings on your right and a ford straight ahead over a stream. Park opposite the farm buildings - space is limited so bunch up!
If a big crowd is expected it might be better to park at the Community Centre in the village and car share the last leg of the journey.
