Banns Road car park is on the B27 Moyad Road from Spelga to Kilkeel.
Via Hilltown, take the B27 towards Newcastle and Kilkeel, turning right as you exit the town and keeping on the Kilkeel Road. Drive up into the mountains turning right at the T junction beyond Spelga Dam, signed Kilkeel and Silent Valley. After about 3½ miles turn left just past the equestrian centre into the Banns Road car park. If it is full you are usually able to park in the adjacent equestrian centre (270 Moyad Road, Kilkeel) but do ask - there is a small charge and usually an honesty box for payment.
