The quickest way to get to Mourne Park from the Craigavon area is through the Mournes, past Spelga Dam, towards Kilkeel. Turn right towards Kilkeel at the T junction beyond Spelga Dam and after about 7Km (4 miles) turn right again towards and through Attical. Three miles beyond Attical you will meet the Newry Road. Turn left here towards Kilkeel and follow the old estate wall on your left for 800 metres (½ mile) until you reach the old gatehouse and entrance to Kilkeel Golf Club - turn left here and drive up the concrete road until you see the clubhouse to your right. The gravel car park for Woodland Trust is on your left beside the golf driving range.
Directions from Kilkeel
Follow the Newry Road (A2) towards Rostrevor for 2 miles. Turn right into the old gatehouse entrance which opens up in the large estate wall on your right, following the sign to Kilkeel Golf Club car park. Continue towards the golf club, parking in the gravel car park at the driving range on your left.
