About the Whyte Estate

This is a pleasant woodland trail with some steps and lots of gates. Lots of native trees and flowers - primroses, ferns, buttercups, crowfoot, bluebells etc.. There are two ancient raths to explore. The paths are generally gravel but are muddy in places.

The woodland trail of approx. 0.90 mile (1.45 km) was extended with the opening of the Boundary Trail approx. 1.25 mile (2 km) in 2008. They can be combined to create an approx. 2.5 miles (4.02 km) circular walk.
