Led by Kathy we had a great walk on day three of the residential. We parked at the White Park Bay youth hostel before walking along the beach to Ballintoy. From there we walked the coastal path to National Trust facilities at Carrick-a-rede for lunch before visiting the (closed) rope bridge. On our return journey we visited the cliffs and caves at Larry Bane Bay but we were unable to stick to our coastal path from Ballintoy to White Park Bay because of high tide. Instead Derek took us on a diversion above the cliffs and back down on to the beach. A great time was had by all - 17Km and 415m ascent!
