Another perfect day for our walk from Helens Bay railway station along Clandeboye Avenue and, for some, on to Helen's Tower, past the leadmines in Whitespots Country Park, finishing at the Somme Centre. From there it was only a short wait for the bus that brought us back to Bangor Station and the 3:25pm train. A perfect location for a delightful autumnal walk on a blustery day. 12.5Km and 145m ascent.
