Another perfect day

Keep safe, keep well, keep walking.

Everything went to plan for our big day out on the Causeway Coast Way. From the super coach provided by Armagh Coaches (thanks Martine for making the initial contact) through to the evening meal at Bushfoot Golf Club (thanks Dorothy for arranging). Thanks also to all the photographers for excellent pics. And of course the walks on the Causeway Coast Way are second to none. A great day all round.

Leitrim Lodge

Some pics from Mike's walk from Leitrim Lodge to Rocky, Tornamrock, Pierces Castle, Tievedockdaragh, Yellow River and back along the Ulster Way to base camp - all before the heavy rain arrived. 7.2 miles and 673 metres ascent.

North Coast

Some more pics from our perfect day out on the north coast.

An Chuirt Movie

Once again Hazel has worked her magic to capture some of the best moments from our residential at An Chúirt. Click on pic above to view her movie. Hit "F" to view video in Full Screne on PC or Apple Mac. Excellent work Hazel - thanks.

Kilbroney Bar-B-Q

Great day out at Kilbroney.

Great walk led by Ronnie B. and John T.

Another perfect day in a perfect place.

Leitrim Lodge

Another perfect day for our two walks in the Mournes starting from Leitrim Lodge.

Craigavon's Balancing Lakes
Balancing Lakes

Another perfect day for a walk round Craigavon's Balancing Lakes led by Ruth. Keeping to the black paths closest to the lakes the walk is almost exactly 5Km.

Chimney Rock

Barry led an ascent of Chimney Rock from Bloody Bridge.

Bar-B-Q at Kilbroney

Another perfect day for our Bar-B-Q at Kilbroney.

Another perfect day for our walk at Howth Head when a group of 11 completed the 12Km Bog of Frogs Loop Walk (purple route - 240m ascent) from Howth DART station followed by a meal in the pub beside the station.

Ruth and Reuben led a walk along the old railway line at Dundrum on another perfect day.

Relying only on his prodigious memory and inbuilt satnav, Reuben led a group of two dozen happy hikers on a great 7.6Km walk at the National Trust's National Nature Reserve at Murlough aptly described as an extraordinarily beautiful dune landscape.
